K I'm eagerly awaiting my upgrade to Pro 9, but have an export question about version 8: When I export a highlighted color to an image file, It can only be highlighted as stitches and solid blocks. Can I export it with only one symbol highlighted?

I have not done much with the export feature except to export to 7 (Standard). Checking with Pro 9, I see I can see a single color highlight in Color Block, Symbol and Stitch displays. It does not show for Symbol & color or Virtual Stitch.
When you export to jpg, you can see the single color highlight in Color Block, Symbol & Color and Stitch. Why the difference in the symbol and color & symbol situations, I do not know - I just report what I see.
BTW - you can only highlight one color at a time.
