I found some free patterns so old that PCStitch PRO would NOT load them. They were PCStitch version 4. I could see them with Pattern Viewer and with PCStitch Standard but not with Pro.
I could also read them with myriaCross and that's what I did. I exported them to version 7 so I could load them into Pro.
Why the "cut-off" for Pro? Why does Pro only allow version 5 and above and is this limit documented? How far back with Standard load?
