HELP! I installed Pro on my new computer with Vista from the cd. I can open files, but the panels aren't there, nor can I access them.

What do I do?

What version do you have from the CD. If it's not at least 8.03.00, it's not compatible with Vista.

You might try installing as administrator.

I have Pro with Vista and it works fine.

Your best bet is to go to the site and download the "big update for Vista". Install what you have and without opening it, run this update program you downloaded and THEN start it up and look for further updates. The current version is 8.03.08.

I downloaded and ran the big update but no change, although it says I have version 8.03.08. I was an administrator when I installed it.

Amber,

I suggest you email Mark to ask for help. I don't know what is wrong.

The only thing I can suggest is you totally uninstall it, then download the latest version and install that. Then contact Mark explaining your problem and ask him for an unlock key if you have the licensed version.

If you do that, you can bypass all the updates.

Thanks for your suggestion Dianne, that's just what was needed. I talked the situation over with Mark and now it works! It really is a neat program.
