Like podria to do so that my friends who have the PC stitch 7 could open and see the designs that I have passed with the PC stitch pro?

Open Pro - File - Export - To PCStitch Standard file.

Remember that you can only pass on design you hold copyright (if it's imported image you must have copyright for it, or copyright holder's consent).

If you are using PCStitch Pro and wish to give your designs to friends who are still using PCStitch Standard (7), simply export the pattern to Standard form. It's in the file menu and there are two options, image and PCStitch Standard. You should be aware that you will lose any features that Pro has but Standard does not such as Petite Stitches, built-in thumbnail, default zoom mode and stitch style as well as some of the design parameters. All in all, it works well and reduces the file size to about 1/3 (mainly because of the removal of the thumbnail, I think).

If you have had to re-install it, you may need to upgrade it.

I'll try using Promt to translate my message. If you have the product on CD and installed it again from there, then you may not have the latest version. You may have to download a special update file from http://www.pcstitch.com/Help/CustomerService.aspx. There are two links. You must choose based on what version you have installed. If you have downloaded it, then all you have to do is run the "Check Update" option where it will check if you are running the latest version. The current version is 8.03.07.

There is a file in the C:\Program Files\PCStitch Pro folder called cbarstate.dat that contains the state of your menu and tool bar icons. Try deleting this file, and it should reset them to the defaults.
