Hi all - every once in a while DMC (et al.) comes up with a new color or two (or new color family). Will the updates reflect new floss colors & numbers automatically? Or should users head over to their favorite manufacturer and add them manually? (This would also apply to Mill Hill etc).

Thanks for any and all info.

DMC does add with different types of floss (like scented ones now) but they don't add new colors that often. I don't know about Mill Hill, Anchor or any of the others. I believe that upgrades would include the latest version of the palettes available. However, there is the "Floss Editor" and you could add anything you find missing yourself.

I can't say how because I have not used that product.
