Diane There is no such thing as a stupid question |

Posted - 01/05/2010 : 16:34:11 Hi, I have made several stockings from patterns that weren't originally stocking patterns. I have a stocking shape that I really like, so I saved its outline in PCStitch. Whenever I want to make a new pattern into a stocking, I open that outline in PC Stitch and save it as my new pattern before I make any changes (so that I still have my outline. Then I can either cut and paste pieces of the other pattern into my new pattern and move them around until they fit like I want them to, or I will hand draw the parts I want to incorporate in (if for example I am trying to convert a printed pattern into a stocking.) |
