Posted - 11/29/2009 : 14:23:24 Can you not have the upgraded standard AND Pro on you desktop at once? I upgraded to the new Standard 9 and now my Pro icon is standard 9. And all my purchased libraries have disappeared with Pro. ACK!!!! |

I have sent you an email on how to run Pro 9 as Standard 9. If you have the license for Pro 9 (not Pro 8), you can run Standard 9 in addition (separate shortcut).
If you have Standard 9, you cannot run it as pro.
Remember - the email I sent only works if you have the licensed version of Pro 9.
As I said, if you have Pro 9, you really don't need Standard 9. It works almost the same but pro has more features.
Good Luck,
Diane

Posted - 12/03/2009 : 10:49:30 OK, found the libraries. But it seems that when I downloaded the update to standard, it overwrote Pro. I want both (I'm greedy and have paid for both), should I put Standard 9 on disk and re-download Pro? At least I can still find the key to unlock. Whatcha think? |

Posted - 11/29/2009 : 20:12:29 Have you found your libraries? With Pro 9, they should be in in the folder ProgramData\PCStitch 9\Libraries. If you have the PCStitch 9 folder with out the libraries, then they may be in a similar folder in ProgramData, such as "PCstitch Pro". C:\ProgramData is the Vista name, I believe the XP name would be C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\. It may be a hidden folder so you may have to "un-hide" it to find the sub-folders given.
Since Standard 9 is a "subset" of Pro 9, there generally isn't a reason to run Standard.

Posted - 11/29/2009 : 19:41:43 LOL I now have standard 9 and Pro 9 on my desktop. Runing on XP Home. I remember when I D/L'd Pro it said I could have both at the same time so I worked with Pro and Converted. |

Posted - 11/29/2009 : 15:00:49 Yes you can have both. Is your Pro version 8 or 9? If it is version 9, then you have pro and standard in one program. You may need to copy your libraries to the correct folder. What OS are you running?
