Running PCS 9.00.016 on Vista 32.

I was working on a pattern and had sorted the Available Colors by Color (instead of the Floss ID) to try to find some additional colors for a design.

Next, I imported a picture and did extensive background removal to create a new pattern. To my chagrin, the order in which the symbols were assigned to the colors were all higgly-piggly, i.e. few (if any) of the numbers and letters were assigned consecutively.

Granted, I can re-assign the symbols so that the numbers and letters appear in consecutive groups but I'll always be _very_ careful in the future to make sure that the Available Colors are sorted by Floss ID before I do an Import!

It may appear that way but you can re-sort at any time. The order that appears is the last order definition that was set. I have no idea how it is saved since it always appears in whatever order was last selected.

It may look funny but it's really harmless. I see patterns mixed up that are in order of creation and that's just as good as manufacturer's ID.
