Hello there. I'm new to PC Stitch. I was using PM stitch, and found that PC stitch pro is like.... a gazillion times better. What i"m wondering is if there is a way to have specialty stitches added to your pattern automatically. Specifically, I'm converting a photo into a pattern, and it really needs some half stitches throughout the pattern, but can the program do it automatically, or do I have to put each stitch in manually? that would kinda suck! it needs a LOT.

thanks,
alyna

Alyna,

Imports are only of full stitches. Specialty stitches (including backstitches), 1/4, 3/4 and half cross stitch are not included.

If it is for your own personal use only, it's not necessary to change them. If all the stitches of one color are to be half-stitches, then you can just state in the instructions that they are half stitches (and which way). If it's just certain areas, again, the instructions can specify.

I agree it would be nice to have an option when you have a marked area to have all of one color changed to a certain stitch but I don't think that's available yet.
