oops-newbie here. Did a search of the forum and did not find an answer.

I made a pattern and it put it as Kreinik Cord for the thread. I want it as DMC Stranded Cotton.

In the Available Colors I changed it to DMC Stranded Cotton and saved. But when I go to print, it prints the Kreinik Cord colors.

So, I went to Tools>Palette Tools>Convert Palette Entries.

It says:
Convert from: Kreinik Cord
To: DMC Stranded Cotton

But when I click to convert I get this message:
The following entries could not be converted:
and then it gives the whole list of Kreinik Cord colors that it made in the pattern.

So......how do I get my pattern to be in DMC Stranded Cotton instead of Kreinik Cord?

many thanks,
Shirley

Well, I think I will answer my own question.

I just started another pattern and after importing the graphic, I see a place to choose the thread mfg. When I did the other pattern, I didn't notice that part, and it must have been set to the Kreinik.

I don't know if it can be changed after saving, but it was easy enough for me to start over, so I did.
