I've followed the help instructions for changing a backstitch line type (like from straight to squiggly), but everything still displays and prints as straight lines.

The instructions say, "ou can change how the backstitch lines are displayed and printed by changing the Backstitch Style drop down on the Palette Entry Properties panel." But it doesn't seem to work. ANyone have any hints?

Nancy,

Are you talking about printing or displaying. Printing them is a different set of options in the print dialog.

If you are talking about the display and it's not working, I recommend you contact Mark about it for help.

I still can't get it to display properly, either by changing the backstitch style dropdown box in the floss properties panel or by right-clicking the line and choosing a style. Everything still displays as straight lines. I even tried changing the style, saving the pattern, closing the software, and reopening the software and the pattern -- same results.

Display and print are two different issues. For display, you can use the floss properties for the color and change the style. It works!

For printing, you need to specify the Print Lines as option in the printer window to get it to come out that way.
