Running 9.00.012 on Vista 32.

My request is that the "Reduce Entries" function of "Palette Tools" be modified to also support reducing the number of colors used in a pattern based on usage to enable "orphan" stitches to be more easily removed from a pattern. The idea would be that if I reduced the palette entries by 1 based on usage, the program would find the least-used entry (using color number as a tie-breaker) and replace it with an existing entry of the closest hue. This would make the removal of the onesie/twosie stitches significantly less time consuming.

It would be nice if the program would prompt the user to let them know that 'nn' stitches of 'color 1' will be replaced by 'nn' stitches of 'color 2'.

This feature was discussed about a year ago (http://www.pcstitch.com/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=136 and http://www.pcstitch.com/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=532).
