Posted - 01/26/2009 : 04:08:55 Hi I am new and new to PC Stitch. I purchased PC Stitch Pro. I would like to know if there is a quick what to convert true font to a backstitch font rather that the cross stitch supplied. I have looked at the stitch font but would like more options. Thank you for your help. |

Posted - 03/05/2009 : 01:17:35 Thank you for your response. I am so sorry that I did not come back to the forum sooner. I am not a forum user and forgot I asked the question. Unfortunately I am new to PC Stitch and have not had time to use it. I find that to do the back stitch for fonts one needs to add each letter individually and I was hoping for an automated method using true font. 26 letters plus numbers will be quite time consuming and there are only 2 options of small letters in backstitch. I hope another update will provide more choices or an automated system. I am not complaining just trying to find a quicker way to do this. Again thank you Isabel. |

First, excuse me for my english, it is very basic.
Yesterday I was testing the type fonts of the program to see if I could do your comments. In true type I observed that fonts are inserted as full cross stitch. To create true fonts as backstitch, you need to do it as Stitched font. In one of the menus of the program you can create more stitched fonts, whether by a backstitch or full cross stitch.
