Hello all!

I have had the pcstitch program for a while now and just upgraded to the pro. I wanted to know how I go about changing my saved work to a pdf file. I am making a portrait for my brother-in-law's upcoming wedding and have printed out the chart but for some reason some areas of the chart were kind of blurry. I think it may be because the chart is too small or because my printer is running out of ink but I really don't feel like printing the chart again. I mean it took like 14 pages the first time and this time I changed the "specific stitches per inch" to 10 and the chart is larger but now it means I need to print like 15 pages...more if I change the stiches per inch to lower than that.

Can someone please help me with this, thanks!

It's not the save. Go ahead and save it as a .pat. To get the PDF, you PRINT it. Just select your virtual PDF printer (like PrimoPDF) as the "printer" and voila! A PDF file is created! :]

Thank so much...

I have another question though, how do you actually get the chart changed to that file? I tried right clicking to copy and also using the "save as' feature but it only shows the pat file. Please help, thanks!

The best idea is to get one of the free "vitural printers" such as PrimoPDF (the one I use). Then just "print" and chose this device as your printer. The result - PDF file!
