Using Pro 9.3.

I went into 'Options' ... 'General Printing Options' ... and under 'Grid Sizing Options' I set 'Specific Stitches Per Inch' at 8.

I am assuming that this means that after saving the pattern to PDF it should then print out at 8 squares per inch on the paper?

When I had PCS 7 set to do this it came out at 60 stitches across the page.

This new one sometimes comes out at 60 and sometimes at 80...even though I have it set to be the same every time I make a new pattern.

Also...I'm not certain because I didn't keep track...but I think it is coming out right on the patterns I made before using the PCS 7 after I open them in the pro and print then to PDF. But not in the new patterns made with the Pro.

Terry,

You are correct. I just let that one go by because I guessed she meant 9.00.03, now a bit behind but still version 9.

FYI - the farther right you go in a number sequence, the more minor the update (in general). The change from 8 to 9 was MAJOR. There have been no "medium" changes so it is still "00". The last group are minor fixes/changes and there have been 10 so far (from .000 to .010).

There is no such thing as a stupid question

What do you mean you use Pro 9.3? I thought the updated version was 9.00.010?

Yeah its annoying, only other choice is kinda upside down but then my brain would hurt.. Its complicated, but, I need to work from bottom right up.. and I work right to left.

Sigh..

Thanks for trying though, Id tried a few things, but, couldnt make it work - in case you wonder why http://blog.crochet-crazy.com :) I dont actually do cross stitch with it, although I can and will do cross stitch on them, I also do something else with patterns I can make on it.

Hi. I read your post...so I went and searched to see if I could find a way to do what you want and I couldn't. All I could find was a way to turn the rulers off.

So I guess we are stuck with them where they are.

It would seem the option you set under the general printing options isnt the one used under print preview - I noticed that mine reverted back to automatic, when I changed it on the print preview window, it then seemed to work.

So I guess that option doesnt quite do what we think.

Im still trying to work out my ruler problem - its been read plenty, but no one has had any comments :(
