I purchased the Upgrade to PCStitch 9. Previously, when I'd hit the text icon, a screen would show up that allowed me to select "True Type" or "Stitched Font". To the right of the font name, it would show the word "sample" in the selected font, so you could see what it looked like (and could easily scroll down the list of fonts). Now, when I hit "text" it just has a drop down box (only with the names), with no picture of "sample" with what the font looks like. I had to keep typing the wrod into my picture, and deleting. Typing it in, and deleting. And so on, and so on. Is there a feature I'm not using, that would allow me to see what each font looks like, WITHOUT having to type something in and then delete...type something in, and then delete?

If not, could I please, please request you bring that feature back?

Thanks.

Sassygurl,

I had the EXACT same request. They thought it took up too much space the way they re-did the font selection but they did say they would try to figure out how to do it.

There is a way, but you have to be VERY careful. You can see the fonts if you EDIT them. That's the only way to get a "preview" at the moment.

If you have to, you can create your own sample pattern but that's a LOT of work!

There is no such thing as a stupid question
