When you access the Customize Toolbars section there is nothing in the "All Commands" menu. It's within the "Commands" tab, then you see "All Commands" and "New Menu". I can easily create a new menu, but I'm unable to add any commands to it because there are no commands listed.

The only way to customize your own toolbar is by taking buttons from already-established toolbars! You have to distort the toolbars that came with the program in order to customize your own. This customize section is set up just like MS Office programs. There should be an extensive list of commands that you can add to your own toolbar.

Am I the only one with this problem?

I've been told it will be addressed in the next version. I hope so because a customized toolbar makes everything go so much faster.

Creese,

I see what you mean. I don't thing it's either. I think it's an area that just was not developed farther. I've never tried it before but it definitely isn't you.

I also have the latest version. I'm not sure how you get something there and how you define your own toolbars. I suggest you email Mark and ask him about it. Let me know what he says!

You can get the "Customize" option by RIGHT-clicking while the mouse is on the current toolbar. When you right-click on the toolbar a little menu comes up showing all the toolbars available. Customize is the last thing on the menu.

I'm using the latest version of Pro and checked for up updates today. I hope you can help! I've uninstalled and reinstalled this multiple times thinking it was an installation problem, but the command list remains empty. I have no idea if it's just me or a program flaw!

Creese,

I'm kind of lost. I've been using Pro since the beta test site. Where is the option you are trying to use? I've just reduced some of the options in the bars (such as not showing petite stitch or the library options). Things I can get from the menus easily or don't use much.
