Cab files are "cabinet files" and are compressed but not in such a way that a user can see their contents. They are used for backups and some installs. This folder should have been built during an install. If a re-install doesn't do it, I don't know how to get them. That's why I suggested you contact Mark. He's the one who could help you.

Hello:

I am guessing ..I went to the cab file and clicked on it..seems this might be a cab file that may be compacted...two types norton and windows. Using winzip 11 it said it was not a file that it could open.
Curiosity, if these are files used when there was an extract.exe file.
Ok i will check with the good peeps there..think i will download the freeebie file also.
Thanks for your time and effort,
Cecile

Cecile,

I recommend to go to the PCStitch main site and use their Contact Us to let them know you do not have the tutorial. Something is wrong and they should be able to help you.

I have PCStitch from the CD but I did my install from the download because of Vista. Mark helped me out with some problems I had and this was the best way to solve them.

Hello:
The program has a tutorial files folder with kids.bmp in it, but the folder that says Tutorials is empty.
I was unable to uninstall the program. I went to regedit and removed pcstich pro. I then deleted the pcstich pro folder. I was not able to reinstall it, I kept getting errors and it would not allow me to enter the program. I had to restore the deleted folder and then I went to the update folder and did the PCStitchProBigUpdate.exe. This brought the Pcstitch Pro program workable. I never was able to get the tutorial to work.
My original program is from a cd which I purchased.

Check the folder where you installed PCStitch Pro. Is there a "Tutorial" sub-folder? It should have a kids.bmp file, a bunch of .htm files beginning with tut and an images sub-folder.

If you do not see this, then the tutorial is not grabbing what it needs. You may need to re-install or re-download and install.

It does use a "browser-like" environment within PCSTitch and shows a "browser toolbar" while the tutorial is being used.

Firstly, do you run the latest version (8.03.08)?
