I have a problem in pro, hope someone can help. I made a pattern and saved it the other day. Today I opened it up, but it wouldn't let me change the pattern. The blank pieces around the pattern I can change, but not the pattern itself. Tried to paste it on a new file, same problem. The other patterns work ok. |

Problem solved. I just made the same pattern in a new window and overwrote the old file. Thanks for the info tho, I will remember it for the future

Amber,
Did you save it in the Pattern Library or as a separate pattern. If you put it in the library, then you need to merge it to the background before you can change it. Right click within the pattern and see if you get the menu with the option to do this.
If this is your problem, remember that the pattern library is designed for small reusable motifs, not complete patterns. Those should be saved using Save (or Save as) in the folder of your choice.
