Posted - 09/17/2013 : 01:08:35 Hi Diane My husband found me one called PDF Architect - very basic and you have to save the merged pdf as Merged PDF then close the prog/ down the go to saved file and rename, but otherwise it works ok.

The idea of a merge PDF utility is very good. However, be aware that some such software have underlying requirements. I recently changed the software I was using because it required me to have java. I got tired of all the security warnings about java so I removed it and that made the software fail to work. I found a new product (PDF Core) that does splits and merges and is also free. It's also independent of other software.
I don't claim it to be the best one by any means. It's simply one I found and it's free. It does have it's quirks (including a misspelling in the folder it creates)

Posted - 09/15/2013 : 02:15:16 Hi Angie Print your graph to PDF as Diane said (a lot of us use Primo PDF which is a free download) and save it. Then open and do whatever you want (such as adding the exported jpeg image from PCStitch) in a Word Doc (or any DTP doc). Then print THAT to PDF too, you can then get a free download PDF Merge software which will combine the two PDFs into one document. Hope that helps. |

Exporting to an image is not a split of the pattern into multiple pieces - it is exporting it all into one file! The only way to split it into multiple pieces is to print to PDF. If you insist on multiple images, you have to create them one by one yourself.

You don't export to a PDF - you "print" to a PDF --- if you have a virtual printer like PrimoPDF installed. As for word, I'm not sure how you get that.
blank grids can be done by just making a "new" file with no stitches and then printing it.
Exporting is not what is intended -- printing is what is intended.
